Description:

Content

This series of 4 lectures considers the valuable and cost effective role that packaged financial products can play in mitigating inheritance tax. On estates of up to several million in size, once the nil rate band and smaller gift allowances have been utilised, the estate planner is likely to require the use of packaged products. From discounted gift plans with life insurance, to the use of equity release and enterprise investment schemes, this course will use practical examples to demonstrate how imaginative and cost effective estate plans can be built for the marginally wealthy client.

Case studies will be used to highlight the range of products that can be used. Specifically, the course will cover the merits of these products to the estate plan; their cost; and how they may be most effectively integrated with the related legal and tax advice.
