Aim
To explain, with examples, how the CGT reform first announced by the Chancellor in his Pre-Budget Report on 9 October 2007 and as proposed in draft legislation issued on 24 January 2008, together with the new Entrepreneurs' Relief, will impact on clients.


Outcome
Practitioners will be able, soon after publication of the draft legislation, to advise their clients on planning disposals for both 2007/08 and 2008/09, with a view to minimising their tax liabilities under the new regime.
