Learn how to use the Virtual Classroom

  • Below there are useful tutorials for delegates and presenters.
  • They are "Quick Start" tutorials and are not intended to cover all the available features.
  • Scroll down to the tutorial most relevant to you.
  • Click on the "Start your training" link to start your tutorial.
  • A new window will open (allow a few seconds for this to happen).
  • Slides will be listed on the left hand side.
  • Just click on each slide in turn to work through your training.
  • Please note there is no voice commentary.
  • There are worksheets available for some of the tutorials.
  • Print the worksheets and they will help you make notes on the key features of each tutorial.

1. Delegate  (5 minutes)

Get the most of your Live online seminar by following this tutorial.

You will learn how to use:

  • Say Yes
  • Say No
  • Laugh
  • Applause
  • Use Text Chat
  • Give Feedback to the presenter eg. too fast, too slow etc
  • Step out/Step Back in to leave or come back to the seminar
  • Put your Hand up to request the microphone to ask a question or make a comment
  • Use your microphone
  • Adjust your sound levels
  1. First View and Print a worksheet to use with your training.
    It has a useful diagram to help you remember what each tool does.

You will learn how to:

  • Start a session/seminar
  • End a session
  • Use your microphone
  • Pass the microphone to delegates

  2. Start your presenter's training
