Description: |
This
lecture will look at drafting tenancy agreements and the main
pitfalls, including discussion of the guidance issued by the
Office of Fair Trading on unfair terms, and how to avoid tenancy
terms being rendered invalid under the Unfair Terms in Consumer
Contracts Regulations 1999.

Shepperson
Tessa
Shepperson is a solicitor and author specialising in residential
landlord and tenant work. She practices as a solicitor in
Norwich as TJ Shepperson.
Tessa
is editor of "Landlord
Law" , an online legal information service for landlords,
tenants and their advisors.
As
well as her own work, Tessa is Honorary Secretary of her local
Law Society, the Norfolk and Norwich Law Society.
Tessa
regularly gives talks on Residential Landlord and Tenant law,
and writes for property newsletters.
